More on Pasta…
Furthermore, this creamy pasta sauce can be served with your favorite pasta. Also there are a variety of fresh pasta options, each of which offers a different texture and flavor to complement the richness of the sauce. Some popular pasta options include:
- Fettuccine Alfredo: The traditional pasta choice for Alfredo sauce, fettuccine is a flat and wide noodle that provides a perfect canvas for the creamy sauce to cling to.
- Linguine: This long, thin, and flat pasta is similar to fettuccine, but slightly narrower. It’s great for twirling around your fork for a satisfying bite.
- Penne pasta: This short, tube-shaped pasta is a great option for those who like their pasta with a little more bite. The ridges on the outside of the penne provide extra surface area for the sauce to cling to.
- Rotini: This corkscrew-shaped pasta is a fun option that is great for kids. The shape is playful and the sauce clings to each twist and turn, making every bite a treat.
- Bow Tie Pasta: Also known as farfalle, this pasta shape is a great option for those who want to add a touch of whimsy to their Alfredo. The bow-tie shape makes for a visually appealing dish and the flat surfaces of the pasta hold onto the sauce well.
